'MeadowShade started from a quaint dream: importing genuine Neapolitan pizza to Rome. Established by the Moretti lineage in 1985, we began as a tiny, familial operation, passing down recipes over the generations.

Giuseppe Moretti, our pioneer, mastered pizza creation from her explorations in Italy, apprenticing with renowned Neapolitan pizza chefs. Once back in the UK, her mission was to replicate the authentic Italian pizza experience, using age-old techniques and top-notch ingredients.

Our journey started with a humble 12-seater pizza shop and has since flourished into a cherished community staple. Yet our dedication to top-quality craftsmanship and authenticity remains steadfast. We prioritize the traditional wood-fired oven methods, prepare our dough from scratch every day, and procure the best ingredients available.

Today, 'MeadowShade' is still nurtured by family hands, with the Moretti's second generation at the helm of our zealous crew. While modernity has been embraced sparingly, our establishment's soul is unaltered: to produce luscious, genuine pizza that unites patrons.
